We have been growing Lagrein in the little-known area of the Margreid talus cone for around 10 years. The dolomite limestone in the soil of the cone is an important prerequisite for its fruity and round character. The name 'Conus' comes from the Latin term for "cone" and refers to the Margreider talus cone and its gentle slopes. Color: cherry red color with ruby red reflections. Smell: intense bouquet, fruity (plum), notes of licorice and cocoa, spicy, floral. Taste: powerful body, intense, straightforward, balanced, juicy, rich in tannins.
