The 2017 Fèlsina Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Colonia has a deep ruby red color and impresses with a harmonious interplay of earthy and mineral aromas, complemented by tobacco nuances and fruity, wild berry tones. The heat and dryness of the vintage have intensified the Sangiovese grapes, resulting in a remarkable concentration. The pronounced oak note adds additional complexity and is significantly increased compared to the previous year. The wine comes from the Colonia vineyard, which has been cultivated since the 1960s.
