Mariondino is one of the few cru locations with sandy soil. The vineyard is located in the town of Castiglione Falletto. More sand means a lot of fruit and finesse, which is why Mariondino is not as lush as the wines from the Bussia vineyard, where the soil is much more clayey. Color: Medium garnet red. Scent: Very fruity, reminiscent of cherries and roses. Taste: full and elegant, refreshing acidity, sweet tannins, lots of fruit.
