A great classic from the Ciacci Piccolomini estate, crafted from a selection of the finest grapes sourced from a vineyard planted in 1989. The Ateo is aged for 18 months, partly in French and American oak barriques and partly in larger Slavonian oak casks. A great red wine that, despite the international grape varieties, is unmistakably Tuscan. Color: intense ruby red; Aroma: rich bouquet of cherries and wild berries; Taste: full-bodied, fine acidity, fruity, with a long finish.
