The grapes for this wonderful Pinot Noir come from Gimmeldinger (Kapellenberg) and Mußbacher (Eselshaut) VDP.ERSTEN LAGEN as well as graduated barrels from the crus in Gimmeldingen and Königsbach. They combine the unique structure and finesse of their origin. The aging takes place in wooden barrels for 18 months, using 20% new wood. The nose is dominated by red berries such as raspberry, cranberry and sour cherry. Aromas of orange peel are also noticeable in the background. Fine and elegant on the palate and very balanced with a wonderfully juicy texture and finely woven tannins. Francophile with Palatinate charm.
