Morello cherries, ripe plums, marzipan and chocolate on the nose: you inevitably want to think of the Donauwelle cake specialty. Fine roasted aromas from the 14-month aging in wooden barrels, plus clove and some dark tobacco. Although the Pinot Noir local wine has a lot of body, it is very balanced, with pleasantly cool fruit, delicate acidity and a stony-mineral aftertaste.
