The summer of 2022 is considered the hottest since weather records began, accompanied by periods of extreme drought in some cases. The grapes reached a high level of phenolic maturity. Classically vinified by mash fermentation in an open fermentation tank and subsequent maturation in barriques, the Pinot Noir GG LAHRER KIRCHGASSE is characterized by its origin and the age of the vines. The scent of red fruits, tobacco and earthy aromas is followed by a beautiful depth and complexity on the palate. A powerful wine with cool fruit, spice, fine sandy tannins and a long finish.
