This Pinot Noir inspires with notes of purple cherries, juicy strawberries and a hint of green tobacco. Its delicate acidity and supple tannins ensure a harmonious balance, while its medium to deep body contributes to its elegant and pleasant character. Location & Terroir Vineyard: Harvested with strict selection and matured in high-quality Burgundy barrique barrels, in second and third use, this wine is only released on the market four years after the harvest. The name comes from the Old High German word "vrankendale" and is derived from the possession of a free or the possession of a frank (person). The vineyards stretch along the flank above Assmannshausen in the direction of Rüdesheim and slope south-west parallel to the Rhine. The Pinot Noir wines are similar to the wines of the Höllenberg, they appear a bit broader and also show a velvety, spicy note with a very intense fragrance.
