In the Gewann Biegarten, our vines grow on deep, slightly creepy, calcareous loamy soil. Due to the orientation of the vineyards to the southwest at an altitude of 300-320 mm above sea level, the grapes ripen earlier than in the other Ebringer vineyards. The Biegarten is mostly planted with Pinot Noir. We harvest the grapes very early, about 100-110 days after blossoming. Thus the Pinots show a clear cherry fruit, are juicy - elegant and promise substance and a long ripening potential.
