Medium density and garnet color. Initially restrained on the nose, then dark forest fruits and red berries. Quite concentrated fruit and structure quite vinous on the palate. The acidity has a refreshing effect on the wine; the use of wood can only be felt after some time. Overall very compact and still restrained in aroma. Still a bit dry in the aftertaste, slightly astringent. Chocolate and some tobacco dominate. A wine that will develop very well. The potential is there, storage is worth it! (Dathan July 10, 2010)
