Location & Terroir Vineyard: The cuvée of our new "Assmannshäuser Spätburgunder-Ortswein" comes from our three vineyards in Assmannshausen. LOCAL WINES are ambassadors of their community. They generally come from high-quality, characterful and traditional vineyards within a local area. Our Assmannshäuser Ortswein comes specifically from Höllenberg, Frankenthal and Hinterkirch. It reflects the typical aromas of Assmannshausen with cassis aromas and a fine acid structure. The wines are released onto the market two years after the harvest. Terroir: Slate weathering
