Bright purple in the glass, floral, playful on the nose, delicate, red fruit with lots of raspberry. Only in the second moment does ripe dark fruit appear, along with dark chocolate, pumpernickel and graphite. Amazingly fresh acidity, which gives the Rasteau a certain coolness. Very creamy on the palate, the tannins are a bit less polished than in the Gigondas from the same vintage, which gives the wine grip and doesn't make it seem too powerful. Incredibly drinkable and stimulating, especially due to the acid structure, which one sometimes looked for in vain in previous years.
