Dark and deep, brilliant/light hue, purple core
NOSE
Quite captivating – contrary to what the grape variety and origin information listed above might predict – and
evokes uniqueness and “otherness”. An admirable vitality and vivacity are immediately recognized: "As fresh as
a new dawn in summer, such generosity is rarely discovered in winter!" A smorgasbord of scents:
Licorice root and black licorice, white pepper, black candies. When exposed to air, the aforementioned candy gradually turns into a
to pass over a certain sharpness. Additional spices from the Middle East/Africa slowly appear in the glass.
The wood remains in the background, recognizable by a subtle smoky note and possibly a certain nuttiness (crushed
Brazil nut, unsalted cashew). Different, but fascinating. Tempting...
PALATE
An immediate realization - everything is perfect and balanced, in proportion, perfectly formed and generous.
If you approach the wine from the side, you can see the whole before the individual parts. Shiraz covers the Cabernet,
but still supports the classic Cabernet graphite core.
The aromas described above merge on the palate - with this wine, what you smell is certainly what you smell
tastes! A lovely texture – although velvety, the grain of the tannins is still clearly noticeable. These tannins (and the
acid) serve as a bridge for the fruit. Yes, an engaging acid structure and vitality - similar to the delicious acidity that many
inherent in Japanese dishes. Length and aftertaste – always gentle, with a mineral note in the finish. Certainly one
Wine that makes you think, you could also say that stimulates the mind
