The Gevery-Chambertin is a combination of several plots. A small part comes from the special Climat "En-Champ" which is located above the Route des Grands Crus and north of Brochon. Another plot, "les Jeunes Rois", is located slightly below and also produces extremely high qualities. The age of the vines is between 40-70 years. The grapes here tend to be harvested relatively late. The Gevrey-Chambertin is a rather robust wine with a lot of grip. It begins with appealing aromas of sour cherries and spice. Very powerful and with a lot of character. Not aggressive, but impressive!
