fresher notes of blackcurrant, ripe fruits and herbs. Wood aromas fit perfectly into the overall picture.

On the palate it is lively, supple and straightforward. The tannin structure is velvety and very well balanced, harmonizing perfectly with the roasted aromas of brioche and licorice. The finish is quite long, lingering on the fruit and a lot of freshness.

Overlooking the Gironde in Saint-Estèphe, Château Montrose produces some of Bordeaux's greatest and longest-lasting wines and has benefited from sustained and intelligently managed investment over the last 15 years. In addition to a brand new winery and a new wine cellar, future-oriented work is also being carried out in the vineyards.
