Especially in large areas like the Rhône Valley, it is often worth sifting through the smaller but fine (sometimes not so well known) appellations for special wines. This is also the case here, where a mature, complex red wine is presented under the Valréas Villages site, which is a pleasure to drink. Ideally suited as a pirate in a blind test with significantly more expensive plants from the region!
