2020 is a vintage of contrasts. The winter was exceptionally rainy and the spring was hot and humid. Just before summer, the rain stopped and the dry and temperate weather continued until the ripening period. From then on, more or less intense heat dominated the period. Thunderstorms that occurred in mid-August were necessary for the vines to complete their growth cycle. The yields were quite low in the early harvest, but the ripeness of the grapes was perfect. Even when you swirl the glass, this red wine reveals a high density and fullness. On the nose, notes of elderberry, blueberries and some juniper, as well as spices such as cinnamon and black pepper. On the tongue, it is grippy, powerful and aromatic with an incredibly velvety texture. A storable red wine that will provide a lot of pleasure in the years to come.
