As always with Sylvain Loichet, thanks to a week's cold maceration of the grapes, the Pinot is quite brightly colored. Still relatively reductive on the nose and youthful, at the same time very juicy. Lots of sour cherry juice, cold smoke and liquorice on the nose, plus sweet wild berries and marzipan on the palate. Fine-grained tannins and refreshing, youthful acidity. Also due to the vintage rather cool Pinot style with a lot of potential.
