Pauillac from biodynamic cultivation, especially a 5ème Cru Classé, is a rarity in itself. The atlantic, humid climate, exacerbated by the influence of the Gironde, is a constant challenge even for conventionally working winegrowers. Château Pontet Canet seems unaffected by this. The wine is elegantly structured, balanced, with dense, very pure dark fruit, spice and delicate roasted notes and sweetly ripened tannins.
