Château Odilon has the fruit and richness that are so characteristic of the Haut-Médoc appellation. However, it differs in that it has a high Merlot content, which gives it a special suppleness. Color: very attractive, intense crimson red, strong crimson red at the edge. Nose: ripe red fruit (cherry, cassis, plum) with traces of cinnamon, vanilla and licorice. Palate: soft on the palate, the impression is full-bodied and delicious with concentrated tannins and a persistent, long, fruity finish. Red Bordeaux and entrecôtes are always a perfect combination. But lamb and game dishes also harmonize with this supple Haut Médoc.
