This charming château, which has a small tower attached to its name, was purchased in 1917 by the then director of Château Pétrus, Madame Loubat, and Jean-Pierre Moueix has been leasing it since 1962. Aromas of cherries, sweet berries, rose petals, cigar paper and loamy earth. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated, it is seamless and layered, with lively acids, powdery tannins and a lively, beautifully balanced profile. A great wine.
