Ripe black fruits, cloves, licorice, pine and walnut shells. Also dark chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied with firm, firm tannins. Energetic and precise, long and lots of depth, structure and polish. Terrific.

Château La Fleur-Pétrus is one of the most famous vineyards in Pomerol. The historic property, whose properties were located in the towns “Pétrus” and “La Fleur”, got its name in the 18th century. Jean-Pierre Moueix, resident in Libourne since 1937,

suspected the excellent quality of the Pomerol appellation very early on. Château La Fleur-Pétrus was his very first purchase in 1950.
