This cuvée made from 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Franc fulfills all expectations of the classification as a Grand Cru. Dense, juicy and complex, smelling of black chocolate and spicy currants, a poem with a long life! Individual bottles dating back to the mid-80s still make us astonished today how long-lived Franc-Pourret can be and how positively and elegantly these somewhat closed wines develop in their youth.
