In the magnificent year of 2022, which can also be called the year of finesse, the Canon-la-Gaffelière cuvée is very fine and almost playful, something one rarely expects from a Saint-Émilion. A wonderful nose with plenty of black and red fruit in equal measure. Violets, nuts, and a hint of licorice are also present. Very fine and balanced on the palate, yet still offering plenty of depth with silky, polished tannins.
