At first the dark fruits are reminiscent of dried fruit. But these fruits also evoke notes of iron, graphite, black ink and a pleasant velvety palate. Pronounced and gripping tannins reinforce the structure of this wine. The oak unobtrusively wraps itself around it, although Grange is aged in new oak barrels without contact with the mash. It also becomes clear that more than one sip is needed to get an authentic first impression. Definitely a wine of its vintage. Grange 2015.
