Rooted in the tradition of Penfolds winemaking yet contemporary, Bin 704 seeks to redefine Napa Valley Cabernet through the Penfolds lens. The wine is aged in French barriques, taking into account the nuances of the grape variety, the regional characteristics and the silky texture of the wine. The cycle in viticulture is impressive and Penfolds has recognized that different hemispheres are often mirror images of each other. The name Bin 704 is inspired by the "mirror image" of its Australian counterpart Bin 407, a wine that also reflects the expression of the grape varieties.
