The Penfolds Bin 389, affectionately known as the "Baby Grange", was first created in 1960 by Max Schubert. This cuvée of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon and 47% Shiraz from the 2021 vintage embodies the legacy of the winery. Coming from the best growing regions in South Australia, the wine matured in American oak for twelve months. Its deep purple color and bouquet of dark fruits, vanilla, caramel and spices seduce the senses. On the palate it is concentrated, fresh and with silky tannins, while the long finish is characterized by harmony and fine herbs. A true Penfolds gem that combines craftsmanship and tradition.
