The Kaiken Terroir Series takes us to Argentina's spectacular wine landscapes, from Mendoza up to Salta. The dry high mountain climate with hot summers, harsh winters and strongly fluctuating day and night temperatures gives grapes and wines a great balance of intense fruit and fine freshness. The Malbec comes from Los Chacayes in the Valle de Uco, Bonarda and Petit Verdot from Agrelo in Luján de Cuyo. All grapes are hand-picked, strictly sorted, fermented on the mash and the wine is first matured in French oak, then in the bottle before it is released for consumption. Juicy and very seductive, floral and fruity in the bouquet with fine herbal spices and mineral notes, long, elegant and harmonious on the palate, with gently matured tannins.
