The base wines for this fine single-vineyard champagne are made from 100% Chardonnay and aged in barriques for around 9 months. Subtle, concentrated bouquet with aromas of lemon, toasted bread, acacia blossoms and cloves. Later, nuances of white peach and quince follow. Wonderfully soft, creamy and very delicate in the mouth. The juicy fruit aromas are supported by a well-integrated lemony acidity. A chalky feeling and a slight saltiness enrich the texture and leave a persistent, racy finish. Very balanced and at the same time incredibly complex.
