The cuvée named after Sébastien Cheurlin has a significantly higher proportion of Chardonnay (50%) than the cuvée of his sister Lucie. Here, too, the remaining 50% is Pinot Noir. The Chardonnay grapes come from vines that are on average 20 years old, while those of the Pinot Noir are even more than 40 years old. The higher proportion of Chardonnay makes it a little lighter in the glass. Subtle, beautiful ripe notes on the nose: brioche, biscuit and white flowers. Good balance between ripe Pinot fruit and body on the one hand and the citrus freshness and finesse of the Chardonnay on the other. Seems a little wineier than the sister cuvée Lucie Cheurlin.
