Our two Cheurlin champagnes bear the first names of the two owners, the siblings Lucie and Sébastian Cheurlin. Champagne Lucie is a cuvée of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, i.e. with significantly more Pinot, as is the tradition on the Côte des Bar. A remarkably high proportion of reserve wines from older vintages gives the cuvée additional depth. Straw yellow with golden reflections in the glass. First clearly red fruit on the nose, then white flowers, some brioche and apricots. Delicate, creamy perlage, beautifully substantial, with slightly iodine notes of Kimmeridge lime in the finish.
