Rich hazelnut aromas stimulate the senses. Aromas of marzipan, apricot compote, honey and toasted bread rise, fresh

bergamot and lime balance the impression. Rich and precise on the palate, with notes of acacia honey and hazelnuts, followed by dried fruit and a salty note. Only exceptional vintages become an R.D.: namely those whose great aromas combine with the potential for long maturation. 2008, truly a great vintage, possibly one of the best in recent decades, is one of these champagnes.
