Bollinger PN was created with the express aim of conveying the house's unique vision of Pinot Noir, the grape variety that makes up 100% of this cuvée. The new AYC18 edition is a new interpretation of Pinot Noir with a unique style.
Tasting:
In the glass, the AYC18 reveals notes of honey, fruit jelly, quince and candied citrus when opened. Aromas of marzipan and blood orange complement a nose full of sweet spices and a refreshing mint note. On the palate, the wine is serious, restrained and rich. It is beautifully expansive with a finish full of candied citrus that underlines the freshness of the wine.
Suggested drinking:
PN AYC18 is made for wine lovers who are looking for different expressions of Pinot Noir from Champagne. We recommend that you serve the PN AYC18 at a temperature between 10 and 11°˚C to enhance its unique style and aromas. You can enjoy this wine immediately or keep it in the cellar for further aging.
Its history:
Pinot Noir is one of the pillars of the Bollinger style and the House has built its reputation by focusing on this grape variety. The PN cuvée is the result of research into the different styles of Pinot Noir and its different origins in Champagne. PN is a continuation of the House's heritage and a confirmation of the legendary Bollinger style, but also a wine that reinvents itself year after year. In this way, each new edition offers a new interpretation of the vineyards and the know-how of the
House of Bollinger.
