Its history:
La Grande Année Rosé is another expression of La Grande Année and is complemented by the assemblage with a red wine from La Côte aux Enfants. The grapes from this legendary plot in Aÿ - a monoplot of the House of Bollinger - are only made into red wine when the grapes have reached optimal ripeness. After vinification
in small, old oak barrels and a long period of maturation on the yeast, each bottle of La Grande Année Rosé is still riddled and disgorged by hand. This wine thus represents the entire savoir faire of the house and the ability to create a cuvée whose quality is consistently unparalleled.
