The 2019 Idig was one of the great dry wines of this top vintage in Germany, and was sometimes celebrated with hymns by wine critics. The 2020 is also a great wine, almost at eye level and vinified entirely for potential and storability. At the moment still very subtle on the nose, strongly characterized by spontaneous notes, it needs a lot of air. Then come blood oranges, blossom honey, limes and grated stone on the nose. Very juicy and yet already with a lot of creaminess, underlined by the typical chalky, smoky minerality of the location. Supplied in a wooden box of 6.
