After a short period of maceration, these Pinot Blanc grapes are fully ripe when they come to the wine press. After spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts, the wine is aged on the lees using batônnage until April. The wine is aged according to the Burgundian model in old and new barriques. The grapes come from the limestone soils of the large growth site Laumersheimer "Kirschgarten". This Pinot Blanc offers an intense and elegant bouquet of ripe and concentrated fruit, which is still dominated by the aging on the lees. Mineral notes combine with a subtle, fine pinot fruit: ripe pear, walnut, dried apple and a hint of sweet melon on the finish. Charming yeasty notes of brioche result in a perfect play of balance and charisma.
