In June we created a subtle assemblage from four selected 500l wooden barrels, the character of which is shaped by our Syrah vineyard, which is located directly below the chapel. At 300 m above sea level, it towers above all of Assignan's vineyards. Since then, the very distinctive components have had time to combine, first in the wooden barrel and then on the bottle, to form a whole. The result already promises a wine with a future that, with its combination of freshness, elegance and concentration, reminds us more of wines from the northern Rhône. Limited quantity.
