The 2020 Château La Conseillante presents an extremely ripe nose. However, it is not overripe or heavy, but fine and aromatic. This vintage is clearly noticeable in the already matured wines. They show an abundance of tannins that are nevertheless soft, velvety and silky. The nose is playful and elegant. The taste is appealing, with a cool drinking flow and a fine texture. Red fruit notes such as morello cherry and raspberry gradually join in. The finish is refreshing, with a beautiful length that is reminiscent of limestone and leaves a salty note.
