The GAUN location sits on the Margreider rubble cone. The name is reminiscent of Baron Gaun, the previous owner of the Löwengang residence. Spontaneously fermented, 9 months on the fine lees, partly in wood, partly in stainless steel. Golden yellow and greenish shimmering, mineral notes with flint on the nose. Fine, creamy mouth with apricot notes, exoticism, dense, melt-in-the-mouth structure and elegant saltiness. Apparently lightweight at only 12%, but full of power.
