Location & Terroir Vineyard: The Bernkasteler Badstube is actually a large location with the status of a single location and is made up of the six best Bernkasteler locations: Lay , Bratenhöfchen , Matheisbildchen , Graben , Alte Badstube on Doctorberg and also the Bernkasteler Doctor . Orientation west-southwest with slopes of varying steepness, the Badstube covers about 50 hectares.
