The Vin Santo from the Chianti region in the heart of Tuscany is one of the best and most famous dessert wines in Italy. It is made from air-dried white wine grapes whose concentrated must is fermented in Ruffino's "Serelle" in French oak. Then the wine matures for 3 years in small oak barrels. The result is a multi-faceted, rich in nuances elixir with a wonderful aroma of candied fruits, raisins, honey, cinnamon and nuts.
