Distinctive red wine of the Lagrein variety, matured in oak barrels for 6-8 months, which only appears in Trentino and South Tyrol. Dark color and a scent characterized by wild berries, graphite and spices. Sophisticated varietal character with a fine Trentino character ... this is what distinguishes the Castel Firmian wine line. The grapes come exclusively from our own D.O.C. vineyards and are vinified in one of the most modern wineries in the region. In addition to popular "international" grape varieties - some of which have been at home in Trentino for over 100 years - the specialties of the region are of course also cultivated. These include the expressive Lagrein as well as the excellent Teroldego, the great classic of Trentino.
