Tastes really dry, very stable, lean and spicy. Pressure builds up in the aftertaste and fine, youthful astringency ensures grip. Becomes increasingly soft on the finish and shows a long acid arc. Finds a calm and soothing ending. Gains enormously on air and also seeks out the Large Burgundy Glass. Great future potential. This burgundy carries the food on its hands, as does a grilled Duroc pork steak and romaine lettuce with Parmesan dressing. Location & Terroir Vineyard: Our large, terroir-influenced Pinot Noir Weissherbst come from the Assmannshäuser Höllenberg, which is considered to be the most famous German red wine vineyard in the world. With a slope of up to 60% to the south-west, the most distinctive Pinot Noirs of the Rheingau grow here on slate. Terroir: slate weathering.
